Centrix (CLC) is committed to preventing money laundering, fraud, and the financing of terrorism through the Platform. To maintain the integrity of Centrix and comply with global regulations, we have implemented this Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy. By using Centrix (CLC), you agree to comply with this policy.
1. Purpose of the AML Policy
The goal of this AML Policy is to prevent the use of Centrix (CLC) for illegal activities such as money laundering and terrorism financing. Centrix (CLC) strives to ensure that all transactions on the platform are legitimate and comply with applicable laws.
2. Monitoring Transactions for Suspicious Activity
Centrix (CLC) monitors transactions for suspicious activities, such as:
Unusual or rapid transactions.
Large transfers to or from high-risk jurisdictions.
Patterns of transactions that deviate from normal behavior.
If we detect suspicious activities, we may take action to investigate and report the activity to the relevant authorities, in accordance with applicable laws.
3. Blacklist Screening
Centrix (CLC) screens transactions and accounts against global sanctions and watchlists. This ensures we do not facilitate transactions involving individuals or entities that are subject to government sanctions or involved in illicit activities.
4. Suspicious Activity Reporting
Centrix (CLC) is required by law to report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities, including government agencies responsible for monitoring and enforcing anti-money laundering regulations. This may include activities that indicate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal financial activities.
5. User Responsibilities
By using Centrix (CLC), you agree to the following responsibilities:
Accurate Information: Provide accurate and complete information when using the platform. Failure to do so may result in restrictions on your account or access to the Platform.
Report Suspicious Activity: Report any suspicious activity or transactions to Centrix (CLC) promptly through customer support or any other available channel.
Compliance with Laws: Ensure that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using Centrix (CLC).
6. Security and Privacy
Centrix (CLC) takes your privacy and security seriously. We utilize industry-standard security measures to protect your data and prevent unauthorized access. However, please be aware that we may need to share information with regulatory authorities if required by law.
7. No KYC Requirement
Centrix (CLC) does not require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification at this time. However, we reserve the right to implement KYC procedures in the future if necessary to comply with evolving regulatory requirements or to mitigate risks associated with suspicious activities.
8. Compliance with Global Regulations
Centrix (CLC) complies with international AML standards, including those set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and other relevant local and international laws. While KYC verification is not currently required, Centrix (CLC) still adheres to strict AML guidelines to monitor and prevent illegal activity.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
Centrix (CLC) reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspicious activities or violations of AML regulations. If your account is flagged for any illicit activity, Centrix (CLC) may restrict or freeze your account, conduct an investigation, and report the findings to the relevant authorities.
10. Changes to the AML Policy
Centrix (CLC) reserves the right to modify or update this AML Policy as necessary to comply with regulatory changes or to improve the security of the platform. Any changes to this policy will be posted on the Centrix.fi website, and continued use of the platform after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
